Hello from Virginia. I am joining this board in hopes of learning about HFSC products. I have a 5 year old grandson who some would consider ADHD. Maybe so, but after talking to a mother of another child in his daycare I want to explore the possibility of food allergies. This mother said they eliminated HFSC containing foods and foods with red food dyes and within two weeks noticed a remarkable difference.
So... I am willing to try an elimination program but am getting very confused about what foods are permissable and what to avoid. Looking at the HFSC free food lists, there are a lot of products I can use. But when reading labels, many prepared foods not listed are not showing HFSC as an ingredient. Are there other buzz words I should be looking for or can I consider a product as acceptable if it does not list HFSC?
