PostSubject: Organic Ketchup   Mon Aug 11, 2008 2:16 pm

I had read online that Heinz had a low sugar ketchup that was hfcs free. I was thinking about trying it despite the fake sweetener, but when I was at the store I found Heinz Organic Ketchup. It doesn't have hfcs or fake sweetener. I tried it today and it tasted great. It's not as thick as the original version, but I'm guessing it's the hfcs that gives it the thickness so that's probably a good thing.
Happy BBQing!

Thanks Meghan!

I've been using the Whole Foods ketchup (their 365 house brand). The thickness is the same as traditional ketchup.

I'm glad to hear about the Heinz Organic, since our nearest Whole Foods is about 15 miles away.

Thanks for sharing!

Publix house brand organic catsup is HFCS free. The bottle is marked Greenwise, which is the Publix organics house brand name.

Works for me, I make BBQ out of it. pirat
