PostSubject: I am so glad I found some help!   Fri Jul 11, 2008 9:40 am

Hello,
My name is Christine, and I am trying to eliminate HFCS from mine and my family's diet. After a visit to my doctor 2 months ago he told me that I had to do something about my weight. He said "are you eating things with HFCS in them?". I said "I don't know, what is that? " He told me to try to cut them out, as well as most carbs.
Well since my husband and our 2 sons have supported me in this lifestyle change we are on a mission to find foods that don't have HFCS. We are even trying to educate our family and friends on what HFCS does to your body. I lost 8 pounds in 5 weeks just by doing this and I am excited to continue this lifestyle change.
I am not always good, but with the support of my husband and our kids we are working to get this crap out of our bodies.
My oldest son has started reading labels on everything. I am so proud of him.
I hope to gain more support through this site.

Thanks,
Christine

Thank you so much for posting and welcome!

I hope we can be of help. This is a very new discussion board, and we (well, me) are floundering around a bit.

Please feel free to post your questions and successes.

Please let folks know about the board. The more the merrier.

Once again, thank you for visiting and even a bigger thanks for posting.
