fruit and grain bars

One of the things that I was having the hardest time finding were "Fruit & Grain bars" (or as we call them here at home "cereal bars"). Every single brand had HFCS in the fruit mixture, usually the second ingredient.

Well, I am very happy to report that I have found some without. The brand is Full Circle and I found them at Giant Eagle (a grocery chain mainly on the East Coast). They only had blueberry and strawberry (most come in a mixed berry and apple variety). But hey, beggars can't be choosers. I'll take what I can get for now, especially since this is one of my 22 month old's favorite foods.

There is a brand of bars called LaraBars. They only use fruit to sweeten. Most of the bars have two to three ingredients. The peanut butter cookie flavor is my favorite and the ingredients are peanuts, dates and salt.
Also ZBar made by Cliff Bars is made for children and it doesn't have any HFCS.
